A former Royal Australian Air Force Logistics Officer, Mrs. York counseled personnel in her command on EEO Complaints, and taught mandatory refresher EEO courses to Air Force and government employees on a quarterly basis. Mrs. York graduated from the Australian Defense Force Academy with Academic Commendations and achieved a double major Bachelor of Arts in English and Management.
Mrs. York was admitted to practice law in Louisiana, where she immediately focused her practice on litigation and legal writing, in both the private sector and as a Public Defender. Mrs. York's legal specializations are employment law, contract law, insurance defense law and criminal law. As a trial attorney who has represented clients in multiple Jury and Bench Trials, Mrs. York fully appreciates the value of thoroughly investigating the facts of a case, knowing the law, and applying that law in court and in strong legal writing.
